Not-for-kids PUMPKIN PIE

Cooked pastry shell 4 eggs (separated)
2 cups cooked pureed pumpkin 1 cup sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. cornstarch
½ cup melted butter 1/3 cup cream
1 cup (not a typo) whiskey - can reduce the amount to taste

1. Add sugar, cornstarch, beaten egg yolks & spices to the pumpkin and beat.
2. Quickly add butter, cream, whiskey & mix.
3. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
4. Fill pie shell & bake for one hour at 375 degrees.
